LA News -- May 13th Last Week of School!

Founder's Note

It's graduation week and it follows what was our last week of having our seniors on campus. It was a rich environment this past week as our seniors shared with the entire student body at senior assembly the impact of Legacy Academy on their lives and their advice to the student body. The seniors shared the importance of accepting help, counsel, and wisdom from teachers and parents and the importance of developing a relationship with Christ. They also shared how grateful they each are that they stayed with Legacy Academy all the way through, seeing that it was in the tough times that God was working on their behalf to change them and grow them through His love and care. Senior Maddie Lowrey said, "At Legacy you are safe, seen, and fit." and that "It is an environment that requires transformation." It was beautiful to see them each encourage the younger students to grow in their faith, honor their teachers and parents, and to let God work in their lives and hearts.

3 John 4 says, "I have no greater joy than to see my children walk in truth." This is our greatest aim that each of our students embrace the truth, give their hearts fully to Christ, and launch out to live His plan for their lives!

Family, friends, and members of the public are welcome!

Athletics Banquet Report

It was an inspiring evening at our first ever Athletics Banquet on Tuesday night as Legacy Academy celebrated values, character, and sportsmanship. We were honored to reflect on a great year and so many incredible young men and women who are determined to sacrifice, compete, and be coached in their hearts and in their sports.

Huge congratulations to all winners, and especially to Coach Webb for receiving the Heart of a Warrior award!

Here’s to building champions in all areas of life!
